Jessica Schaus, Principal
Principal Jessica Schaus has called Lincoln home for many years, teaching 4th grade, leading through the Assistant Principal role, and now serving as the Principal. She has taught and led Tennessee schools for more than a decade, serving students from Pre-K through fifth grade. She is passionate about teachers having high expectations and strong relationships with their students and those students feeling empowered to go out and do great things in the world. Under Mrs. Schaus’ teaching and leadership since being at Lincoln Heights Elementary School, the school has achieved continuous improvement in student growth and achievement, earning Tennessee Reward School status in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Mrs. Schaus is from the East Tennessee region, growing up in Kingsport. She graduated from King College with a degree in Elementary Education, later going back to receive her Masters in Administration & Leadership. After college, she taught in Knox County and Anderson County Schools. In 2020, Mrs. Schaus and her husband moved to Morristown and have since welcomed two sons into their family, Bennett & Beau. In her spare time, Mrs. Schaus and her family enjoy traveling and visiting the National Parks. She enjoys playing sports, like volleyball, and even plays in a handbell choir at church.
